Winery Info:
The Elvio Cogno Winery produces the principle wines of the Langhe. The winery owns about fifteen hectares of vineyard property in Novello, one of eleven townships in the province of Cuneo in which Barolo DOCG production is allowed. The hills are world-renowned for their history, culture, and beauty, and they were recently recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage.

Tasting Note:
Red berry, rose petal, white pepper and chopped herb are just some of the aromas you'll find on this. The bright full-bodied palate delivers crushed raspberry, dark cherry, star anise and tobacco alongside firm refined tannins and vibrant acidity. It's already tempting but will be even better with more bottle age.
