Description

In 1986 Simon Bize decided to plant vines in this unused plot. Particularity: This parcel is planted in 95% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Gris

This eastern facing parcel features very pebbly soil, as the various surrounding stone huts can attest.

A cross erected by Simon looks over this parcel. This plot, near and dear to the heart of the domain, boasts a striking view of the valley. This much beloved plot provides a unique and peaceful ripening environment for the grapes. More recently, an homage to the Bize family was completed near this parcel.

The wines strike a perfect balance between richness, roundness, and freshness on the palate.

This rich and round Bourgogne Blanc is everything you want from Burgundian Chardonnay. Notes of fleshy stone fruit, lemon zest, pithy citrus, and brioche dominate the wine's succulent palate. Serve with crab cakes, foie gras, or creamy pasta dishes.
