Description

This vineyard was created by Jean-Nicolas in 1989 from poor, stony ground at the top of the hill, behind the trees above Echezeaux.
If you’re looking for an off-the-beaten path white Burgundy, look no further. This unusual, rare Côtes de Nuit white shows hints of spice that accompany flinty, citrus aromas. This wine derives from an eight-acre organically tended vineyard planted in the 1990s. Lush, ripe Bosc pears and golden delicious apples coat the palate and mingle with lovely minerals, all coming together with beautifully balanced acidity to make this a superb wine for all occasions. Fresh with acidity and replete with stone fruit, minerals and citrus, this unusually complex white is bottled without filtration, allowing for an unusually authentic expression of its terroir.
