The fruit for this wine is all P58 clone from our Balnarring and Red Hill vineyards. The fruit was hand sorted in the vineyard and winery then whole bunch pressed. The cloudy juice was transferred to a mixture of new and old puncheons to ferment using indigenous yeasts. The wine was matured on its lees in barrel for 9 months.
This Chardonnay shows an abundance of grapefruit pith, citrus and florals. Subtle oak spice complements in the background. On the palate – a mixture of bright citrus and stone fruit, vibrant balanced acidity, and a long, textured savoury finish. Its fine, long and delish!
