Description

Bruno Desaunay, together with his father-in law, Daniel Bissey, have several parcels of very old vines in Vosne, Echezeaux, Grands-Echezeaux, Chambolle, and Nuits St. Georges.  Some of these vines are over 100 years old.

Since 2007 Bruno uses no herbicides or pesticides, all the soil being tilled.  Bruno's winemaking is very terroir-expressive, doing short pre-fermentation maceration, using indigenous yeasts, and not too much extraction. The wines are neither fined nor filtered. The result is beautifully balanced, perfumed, textured, complex, lingering, unforgettable wines.
