Description

The Bourée family approaches winemaking as it has since its founding in 1864: carefully, deliberately, with an eye toward tradition. No wonder these are age-worthy gems. Indeed, they demand cellar time before they open up to the drinker. The Burgundy Report agrees: "These wines need – indeed beg – time in the cellar, and from what I tasted their blend of elegance and aromaticity deserves to be successful – I only hope that there is still sufficient patience in today’s marketplace for Burgundy wines that need to be cellared.

Les Renardes is a leading lieu dit of Corton Grand Cru. The vineyard tends to make wine of great intensity and it will improve with ageing.
